Savage Tropics 100% Pest-Free Guarantee Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility: This guarantee applies to all plants purchased directly from the Savage Tropics website. Plants purchased at markets or pop-ups are also grown pest-free, but due to the nature of transport and external conditions, the 100% pest-free guarantee does not apply to these purchases.

  2. Coverage: The guarantee covers the presence of harmful pests, including but not limited to thrips, spider mites, mealy bugs and aphids, at the time of delivery.

  3. Exclusions: The guarantee does not cover pests that appear due to improper care after delivery, including exposure to other pests in a collection. If a plant is suspected to have pests or you have a visual on the little buggers, it must be isolated immediately and you must contact us at the first sign/suspicion of pests. If you are suspicion of pests please keep the plant isolated for a minimum of two weeks, After this period, if pests are confirmed and it can be verified that they were not introduced after delivery, the guarantee will be honored. The plant must be returned to Savage Tropics in original or new suitable protective packaging and with the pests intact for verification before a refund is issued.

  4. Return of the Plant: To process a claim under this guarantee, the plant must be returned to Savage Tropics, to start the return process please email us at connect@savagetropics.uk

  5. Misuse Prevention: Savage Tropics reserves the right to deny the 100% pest-free guarantee to any customer found to be repeatedly misusing the service. This includes, but is not limited to, attempts to deliberately introduce pests to a plant in order to claim a refund. Any customer found to be engaging in such behavior will be excluded from future purchases and will forfeit the guarantee.
